Jump on Board

You already vote regularly, you've signed a petition or two, maybe you've even marched with like-minded people. Campaigns for the 2022 election are well underway. Flex your political muscle by volunteering to get Democrats elected at all levels.

Local candidates are the ones who make decisions that most affect your day-to-day life. If you are passionate about a candidate or an issue, have positive energy, are creative and are willing to jump in and do the many tasks needed, it only takes a few hours a week to make a big difference.

Phone - Banking: Encourage turnout among voters who support Democratic candidates

Canvassing: Knock on doors to hand out literature about candidates or issues

     Mailings: Address envelops, send postcards

Public events: Be visible, attend rallies and parades, hand out literature

Hold a house party: Raise funds, give personal exposure to candidates, inform voters

Voter registration: Get young voters or newcomers to register to vote and to go to the polls

Publicity: Put up yard signs, deliver window signs to businesses, write articles for local newspapers, use social      media to promote candidates or issues
